The House of Domes situated in the Nglepen, Sumberharjo Village Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Domes is a house was give from the NGO when the earthquake struck Yogyakarta. In Nglepen have 80 buildings with dome house design facility equipped with small mosque, home health, and community hall which is also often used for a celebration event. These domes current settlement known as New Nglepen.

In addition to the unique shape of domes because it was adapted from a Igloo model that is the home of Eskimo tribe, the advantage of home model of this dome is resistant to earthquakes due to the absence of connection that is a weak point of the building when the earthquake rocked. In addition to withstand an earthquake, this house was also able to withstand wind load up to speed 450km/jam although the excess is seldom used by Indonesia's tropical climate.

Domes house consists of two floors with an area of about 38 square meters. The basement is usually used for the living room, dining room, bedroom and kitchen. While the upper floor is used for family room. This house has a two-door design of the front and rear, two-door and four windows located on the front two and two bedrooms. Also at the top of the domes have ventilation that serves to draw air into the house.

Every house domes equipped with drainage facilities in the kitchen. But the problem of housing type is because the bathroom is located outside the home.
