Bursa Agro Jogja (BAJ) Kota Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta as a city is the first consumer of the hobbies agriculture products. Therefore, the local government establishes Bursa Agro Jogja (BAJ) to provide the people of Yogyakarta for agriculture products. Lies on 14.030 m2 area, BAJ is located on Dongkelan, Gedongkiwo, Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta.

BAJ, that was officiated by the major of Yogyakarta on Januari, 20 2008 is designed as comfortable place for events that supports the development hobbies agriculture and the marketing development through a market.

It consists of Receipt Zone, Education zone, Display Zone, Hobbies Plants Zone, Fish Zone, Exhibition Zone, Agriculture Education Park, Parking Lots, and other public services.

Recently, Pusat Informasi Promosi Agribisnis (PIPA) is used as a showroom and transaction of agriculture comodity specially hobbies palnts and its properties (pot, sprayer, and etc).

The display building consists of 25 rooms rented by association/agriculture group/trader/ to sell their products and its properties.

The Exhibition zone is used to held ehibitions every two months by BAJ or other private (event organizer) and followed by dan diikuti association/agriculture group/trader in Yogyakarta and around.

The Retail Zone consists of 25 rooms rented by fish trader of Ngasem Market that was relocated since 2007 due to refunction Ngasem Market as a cultural heritage of Taman Sari.  

Several zones taht still need to be developed are Sub Raiser Fish Zone to provide the need of the people of Yogyakarta qualified fishes.
