Tujuh Bintang Art Space

For this gallery, seven means good thing. The universe also related in the number of seven such as seven sky, seven layer of earth, seven grade of hell and heaven, seven types of stars, and seven day in a week.

Seven also describe the nature God, the things of the whole things, sevent nature that we feel like Qudrat (power), Iradat (will), Ilmu (knowing), Hayat (living), Sama (hearing), Bashar (seeing) and Qalam (saying).
 
The word seven also reflects the name of the founder Saptoadi Nugroho. "Sapto" means seven. The gallery is also situated on  Jl. Sukonandi 7 Yogyakarta. Bintang or star is choosen because star means the champions, the best and the idol. The goal of this gallery is to show the works of art in this gallery to be the best works for everybody.
 
Leading to the show room, one will find the two large show rooms called wing A that accomodates about 28 paintings whereas wing B accomodates 20 paintings. Staffs room equipped with computers and internet are also established to support the gallery. A ware house of painting and a bedrooms are also provided for artists from outside of Yogyakarta.
 
Tujuh Bintang Art Space is established to create a flexible room for artist to express their art taste not only for senior, but also junior. It also offers artists to show off their talent in "Pamer Bakat Seni" and also a place to dialogue among the artists, curator, collector, the art lover, and the people.

Tujuh Bintang Art Space was established on Agustus, 17 2008. It is opened everyday from 10.00-20.00 pm.
